🔥 The tournament at Ist we archived and now we move on. We have a weekend ahead of us, Saturday, full of events in Olib. There will be something for everyone, and we believe and hope that it will be fun and unforgettable for everyone. 🐟🍷The traditional Fishermen's Festival will be held on Saturday, August 1, organized by the ŠRD. The start is scheduled for 9 pm, and we will be entertained by Klapa Levanda. Of course, seafood, sardines and octopus salad are on the menu. In addition to drinks, there will be no shortage of drinks, and with the Levanda klapa, we also believe in top-notch entertainment!!! 🎣 As we said at the beginning, there will be something for everyone. The overture to the Fishermen's Festival will be a Workshop for children and young people: Education on responsible fishing – learn more about fish, fishing tools and fishing techniques, and how to be responsible towards the sea. This workshop will last for two days, on the 30th and 31st july, and will be held by Dubravko Pejdo, the coach of the junior national team of Croatia. Every day, the workshops will take place from 10 am in the Tourist Office. 🤿 As part of this workshop, we have an extended version of the underwater cleaning campaign for adults, which will be held on August 1, starting at 11 am. Smaller children with leaders will clean the underwater of Veli Sabun beach, larger children with leaders behind the waterfront and under the cemetery, and adults around the waterfront. Let's give back to the sea what it gives us and keep it clean!!! 👉 On Saturday, August 1, starting at 9 am, the Education for Youth and Fire Prevention in the Tourist Office will be organized by DVD Olib. Boris Ivon, president of DVD Olib, will warn about the dangers of fires on the island. DVD rooms will be visited and tools and vehicles will be presented. 🤲 Until the next posts, we wish you a lot of fun, letters and dancing, linden trees and drinks.
