Rockin in the Fields

Here comes the tenth Rockin' in the Fields, with six great bands spread over two days, Friday and Saturday August 21st and 22nd. The festival is opened by Zadar's Rich Man, who arrive in Polje after the release of their first album and a series of concerts in Croatia. This is followed by the young band Mule, the new band of Toni Perušek, who won the Croatian Blues Challenge in 2024 with the band Restless Sea. This time they are singing in Croatian, also hard blues. The first day is closed by Krissy Matthews, a British-Norwegian blues singer-songwriter, active for over 20 years with six albums of peculiar expression behind him. The second day is opened by Axis, a Romanian band of fierce expression inspired by the sound of the 70s - here comes someone from Eastern Europe. This is followed by the legendary Messerschmitt from Pula, a band that began his career on the album Bombing New York by the legendary Zdenko Franjić, and has remained faithful to the garage-blues sound to this day. The festival will be closed by the great Slovenians Greg Black and the Bad Notion, who delighted the audience at the Zagreb Blues Festival after the release of their debut album.
