That same year, Traxsource ranked him the #14 producer in the world, surpassing thousands of artists globally. PEZNT isn’t just a name, it’s a movement. A Croatian born powerhouse with Italian roots PEZNT has risen to become one of the most electrifying forces in electronic music blazing a trail from underground clubs to global charts and beyond. As a visionary producer, boundary-pushing DJ, and genre-shaping remixer, he launched his music career in 1994, quickly becoming a central figure in shaping Croatia’s club and radio culture. Today, he stands as one of the country’s most influential and prolific electronic music artists to emerge onto the global scene. With over 400 tracks released, PEZNT has worked with some of the world’s most respected labels, including Interscope Records, Warner Music US, Atlantic Records, Island Def Jam, Defected Records, Dirtybird, Big Beat, Ministry of Sound, and his own Blacksoul Music. A true pioneer, he became the first Croatian artist signed to Warner Music US, releasing two groundbreaking singles. His debut album, Paid in Full, skyrocketed to the Top 10 on Traxsource in 2020. That same year, DMC Magazine hailed the album as one of the best of the year, awarding it a 4.5/5 rating. Launched in 2016, the PEZNT project quickly caught fire in the global house, deep house and tech house scenes. His tracks have earned widespread radio support from BBC Radio 1, Apple Music 1, SiriusXM, and other major tastemakers, while dominating dancefloors around the world. His music was also featured in the second season of the hit Hollywood series Shameless, cementing his crossover appeal. PEZNT #8217;s remix game is just as strong, his remixes of Grammy winner Maurice Joshua and house legend Todd Terry topped charts, with the latter hitting #1 in sales in 2019. His global breakout continued with hits like Son of a Gun (#6) and a remix of Jared Marston #8217;s Spinning Sax (#1) on Australia’s ARIA Club Charts, which led to his first Australian tour, rocking cities from Sydney to Melbourne and closing with a set in Bali. His smash hit Burek became the first Croatian track ever released by Defected Records, What defines the PEZNT sound? A lush fusion of house and tech house, funk-infused grooves soulful diva vocals, rich chords, and live-synthetic blends, crafted with precision emotion, and an unstoppable passion for pushing boundaries. In 2022, PEZNT once again made history with a sold-out orchestral concert at Zagreb’s Museum of Contemporary Art, performing his greatest hits alongside the renowned Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) Jazz Orchestra. Broadcast by Croatian Radiotelevision, the performance made him the first electronic music producer and DJ in Eastern Europe to perform with a full orchestra, blending electronic beats with cinematic live arrangements This game-changing show launched a new era in PEZNT’s career, bridging underground credibility with high-art presentation. It also served as a bold prelude to his next studio album currently in the works. The first taste? The Preacher, a floor-filling collaboration with legendary New York voice Mr V, a track that stormed into the Top 10 house charts and earned support from none other than electronic music pioneer Laurent Garnier. PEZNT is more than a sound, he’s a vision. In 2023, his music was handpicked by Apple for a WWDC keynote demo showcasing Apple Vision Pro DJ AI software. Featured during one of the most prestigious tech events on the planet, this marked PEZNT’s debut not just in music, but in the future of immersive audio and AI performance technology.
